8.5Verified guest“The breakfast spread was extensive, with eggs and bacon. The rooms were bright and comfortable, and the staff were energetic.”
8.5Verified guest“The rooms felt airy and spacious, with a good bathroom and air conditioning. The staff were super friendly and we really enjoyed their company. Breakfast was savoury and delicious, with fresh orange juice and various options to suit every taste.”
8.5Verified guest“The lounge was a pleasant place to relax after a day of sightseeing, and the communal vibe made it easy to meet other travellers. I enjoyed the breakfast and the chance to cook simple meals in the kitchen. However, I felt a bit uneasy walking in the area late at night due to street vendors. Overall, the stay was more challenging than I expected, especially for a couple wanting a comfortable retreat in a new city.”
8.5Verified guest“This is how a guesthouse should be run! The location is perfect, right in central Lisbon next to Rossio Square, close to the metro, and almost everything is within walking distance. The staff are fantastic—they let me check in at 7:30 am after a night bus and even offered me breakfast. Though there’s no lift and the stairs are steep, a staff member carried my luggage to my room. Everyone was helpful with directions and warned me about pickpockets on tram 28. They gave great recommendations for Portuguese food and wine. My room (Tejo) was cosy and spacious, and I loved the themed decor. The shared bathroom was clean and right next door. Wi-Fi worked well most of the time. Breakfast was wonderful—bread, ham, cheese, cereals, milk, orange juice, coffee, tea, and a variety of jams. You can also make fresh orange juice or cook an egg in the kitchen. When I had to leave at 5 am, they encouraged me to take food from the fridge. Very thoughtful.”
